 It's time for Birdbath x Close Range!

 

KWCW presents this inaugural Spring 2023 issue of Close Range, a magazine dedicated to creative responses to indie music and indie music culture and the powerful ways it colors our everyday lives. Particularly through our commitment to radio, we at KWCW know that music is not an insular, self-contained thing, but rather an important nexus of community, friendship, and love. The five pieces collected here explore that idea in a variety of ways, whether reflective, personal, humorous, or artistic. We hope that our readers can themselves be moved and prompted to recall the abiding ways in which music has made a mark on them, and to celebrate how a community-driven, independent radio station can be an important shepherd of that gift.
