Birdbath @ the Sundance Film Festival 2023

Well, the cat's out of the bag -- thanks to Whitman's Film and Media Studies department, Birdbath was able to secure virtual passes to this year's Sundance International Film Festival! Specifically, we picked up an Award Winners' pass, which gave us access to the winners of the Audience World Doc, Grand Jury World Dramatic, Grand Jury World Doc, Audience NEXT, Festival Favorite, Audience US Doc, Audience US Dramatic, and Audience World Dramatic awards, as well as all the fest's short films and a handful of episodic content. 

This issue, while partially an avenue for our beloved flock to send in articles about anything their hearts desire, is also our excuse to review what we saw and shine a light on some upcoming releases you can look forward to (and hopefully secure some press passes for next year everybody cross your fingers PLEASE)!

The Festival Issue will also take a look back at what 2022 had to offer, complete with montages, video essays, and PLENTY of best-of lists.
